Dear Friend of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish,
In the year 2008, we shall celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. We are planning various activities throughout the year to mark the jubilee.
Among the events are the following:
A committee is working on an updated history of the parish and a memorial booklet to commemorate the 100 years of the life of the parish.
The first stage of our planning involves our making contact with former members of the parish, alumni of the parish school, priests and religious and lay teachers who have been associated with the school and the parish over the years, and anyone who has fond memories of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. For your convenience there is a form with this letter that you may fill out and mail in. We would appreciate a response by July 1, 2007, if convenient.
Please inform your family members, classmates and friends about the parish jubilee. Contact us with these names, and we shall invite all of you to join in our parish celebration.
